Thirty-six middle school students from Fall River and Somerset were selected by audition to join the FRSO for this concert. In Fall River, participating teachers are Karen Souza, Talbot Band Director, Marilyn Melanson, Talbot String Orchestra Director, Judith Bento, Henry Lord String Orchestra Director, and Donna Murray, Morton Band Director and in Somerset, Catherine Gagnon, Somerset Middle School Band Director. Coordinating the venture are Elizabeth Yokell, Director of Fine and Performing Arts for Fall River and Lori Anderson, Coordinator of the Fine & Performing Arts in Somerset.
